Hey, I’m the creator of pocketpixels.gg, and I’ve been working in gaming hardware development since 2012. While I’ve helped build the tools gamers use every day, my personal obsession has always been handheld gaming.

I grew up in a time before cell phones and tablets, so portable gaming devices were the ultimate escape. They meant freedom — the chance to play wherever and whenever, not just when the TV was free or when I was at home.

Some of my favorite memories come from gaming on the go. Long car rides, school breaks, hiding under the covers with a Game Boy — handhelds were always there, and they made every moment more fun.
